Replacement & cross-reference guide

Search by the part number you already have. Pin-to-pin means the package, footprint and pinout match and the board does not change. Functional means the optical performance matches but the mechanical interface must be confirmed against your drawing.

Spectra and thresholds are matched on published datasheet values. Final confirmation always against a sample measured on your own test bench.

How we treat a replacement claim

  1. You send the incumbent part number and, if you have it, the mechanical drawing and current drive conditions.
  2. We map it to the nearest LumeLiDAR device and state plainly whether the swap is pin-to-pin, functional or impossible.
  3. We ship samples — usually two to five units — so you can measure spectrum, peak power and rise time on your own bench.
  4. We quote in production volume once your engineering sign-off is in place, and hold the agreed lead time.

What "functional replacement" really means

A functional replacement meets the optical and electrical specification but not necessarily the mechanical one. In practice that means one or more of these differences:

  • A different can height or flange diameter
  • A different number of pins, or a different pin circle
  • A different emitting-area geometry — which changes the far-field, not the power
  • A different lead-frame material, which changes the soldering profile

We will say which of these applies to your part before you order, not after.

Send us the part number you are replacing.

Include the annual quantity and the application. We will return a cross-reference position, a price and a sample offer.
