Quality & manufacturing
Every device we ship is burned in, wavelength- and power-tested and optically inspected before it leaves the line.
The equipment behind the datasheet
These photographs are of the manufacturing partner's production and test floor. They are shared here with permission and show the process our devices are built on.
What you receive with a shipment
- Certificate of conformance per lot, with the measured peak wavelength and output power distribution
- Per-unit breakdown voltage record for APDs, so your bias circuit can be set without a sweep
- RoHS and REACH declarations for the exact part number supplied
- Laser safety classification statement for the delivered configuration
- Handling and soldering profile — including the high-temperature profile for two-pin metal packages
- De-sensitised reference case on request, for your own supplier qualification file
Compliance documentation (RoHS / REACH declarations, laser class reports, material declarations) is issued per part number on request, together with a Certificate of Conformance for each lot.
Dual-use and export compliance
Laser diodes and photodiodes are dual-use items in most jurisdictions. We ship against an end-user declaration and we will not release an order where the stated end use does not match the destination or the buyer's business.
If your application is in defence or aerospace, tell us up front. It changes the paperwork, not the answer.
Traceability
Every shipment is traceable to the wafer lot and the assembly batch. If a field return appears, we can identify the sibling units from the same lot and tell you whether the failure is isolated.
Request the compliance pack for your part number.
Tell us which device you are evaluating and which documents your quality system needs — we will send them before you commit to an order.
