Collimating pin (MZ) — isolated header-MZ

Same emitter as the -M parts, with a collimating pin and a header that is not electrically live. Because the case carries no potential, the diode can be mounted straight onto a metal housing without an insulating pad — which removes a thermal interface from the stack.

Lens collimated (aspheric) — confirmed at enquiry-MZS / -MSAvailability on enquiry

Aspheric collimating lens giving a 3° × 5° beam at a lower cost than a FAC stack — the tightest beam we have shipped in a standard TO56 can. These configurations sit outside the current price list, so stock and tooling status is confirmed at enquiry: tell us the peak power and the beam you need and we will come back with availability and a lead time.
