DFB Butterfly Lasers

1064 nm & 1550 nm distributed-feedback

Availability confirmed at enquiry This family is supplied to order rather than held on the shelf — send us the specification and the annual volume and we will confirm stock, tooling and lead time before you commit.

Narrow-linewidth distributed-feedback lasers in a 14-pin butterfly package with an FC/APC pigtail. Single-frequency output with 30 dB side-mode suppression — for coherent detection, fibre sensing and spectroscopic analysis where wavelength stability is the whole point.

  • 1064 nm and 1550 nm DFB
  • Side-mode suppression ratio 30 dB
  • 1550 nm linewidth 3 MHz
  • 14-pin butterfly with FC/APC pigtail
  • Up to 50 mW (1064 nm) and 40 mW (1550 nm) ex-fibre

Configurations

Expand a group to see the model table. All powers are peak pulse power at 25 °C unless the table states otherwise.

This family is built to order. Contact us with your target specification and we will quote against it.

Applications: coherent LiDAR, fibre-optic sensing, distributed fibre sensing, laser spectroscopy, environmental monitoring and medical systems. Photograph shows a representative single-mode, fibre-pigtailed module from the same production line; the butterfly outline drawing is available on request.

Send us the specification you need to hit.

Wavelength, peak power, package and annual volume is usually enough for us to quote — and to say whether a sample is available from stock.
