Collimation & Fibre-Optic Assemblies

FAC services · patch cords · collimators · combiners

Availability confirmed at enquiry This family is supplied to order rather than held on the shelf — send us the specification and the annual volume and we will confirm stock, tooling and lead time before you commit.

The engineering services that turn a bare die into a usable beam. Fast-axis collimation, spatial beam compression modules, custom fibre patch cords and end-face processing, collimators, couplers and combiners — built to drawing, not to a catalogue.

  • FAC line and square collimation on customer-supplied or our own TO9 / TO56 diodes
  • Aspheric and spatial collimation modules for 905 nm
  • Custom patch cords: 105/125 µm to 577/600 µm, FC / LC / SC / ST / SMA905 / APC / UPC
  • Fibre collimators and detachable adjustable collimators
  • Couplers, splitters and fibre combiners
  • Fibre end-face processing (including fibre-to-fibre splicing and connectorisation)

FAC collimation services — line and square output

We collimate a third-party visible laser diode (Nichia, Sharp, Ushio, Mitsubishi) into a line or square spot. Fast axis 1.2°, slow axis 25°. Supplied with fibre coupling and capping if required.

Datasheets

These variants have a formal, LumeLiDAR-branded specification document. Where one is published you can download it directly; the rest are issued on request, together with the quotation.

Typical applications

Where this family is usually designed in:

Medical, Bio & Analytical Instrumentation Industrial Processing & Pumping

Send us the drawing or the beam requirement and we will quote against it. Collimation services are also available for customer-owned diodes shipped to the assembly line. The published line and square specifications cover 450 nm, 520 nm and 638 nm; the source die is qualified against the mainstream part numbers named in each specification.

Send us the specification you need to hit.

Wavelength, peak power, package and annual volume is usually enough for us to quote — and to say whether a sample is available from stock.
